Purpose and legal basis of processing

There is no user registration on the website. Through our website you have the option to request a quotation for engineering, automation or other services, or contact us; you can do this at the e-mail address shown on the website or via the contact form provided there. On the basis of the enquiries received, your name, e-mail address, phone number and any other data provided in the message are entered in our records. If you do not become a customer or business partner of our company, we will delete this data without any delay.

If you submit an application to us for one of our currently open positions, we process the data you have provided in your application (personal identification data and data from your CV). If you do not become an employee of our company, we will delete this data without any delay.

In the case of contact enquiries and job applications, the legal basis of processing is the data subject's voluntary and explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); in the case of steps taken prior to entering into a contract and for performance of a contract, it is the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); and for the fulfilment of accounting and tax obligations, it is compliance with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). The controller may continue to process the personal data it handles even after the consent has been withdrawn, in order to comply with its legal obligations.

Visiting the website

When you visit the website, the following data, which cannot on their own be linked to a specific person, may be recorded for statistical analysis and to protect website security:

  • the visitor's IP address,
  • the start and end of the visit, page by page,
  • the type of the visitor's browser and operating system.

The system logs this data continuously and automatically, but does not link it to the data provided when getting in touch. The controller uses this data anonymously, exclusively for statistical purposes and for protecting the security of the website.

Data processing takes place only in the manner laid down in legislation, to the extent and for the time necessary to achieve the purpose, and solely with the personal data that is indispensable for achieving the above purposes and suitable for doing so.

Website cookies

The website uses so-called cookies to analyse the use of the website and in the course of providing its services. Users can also delete this data independently, directly from their own web browser.

Session cookie
Essential for navigating the website and for operating its key functions. It stores the information required for filling in forms and does not collect any information by which the visitor could be identified or from which it could be determined which other websites they have visited. It is deleted automatically when the website is closed.
Functional cookie
To improve the user experience, it detects which type of device was used to open our website and remembers the visitor's previous settings.
Analytics cookie
The website primarily uses the Matomo Analytics web analytics service to analyse visitor numbers, which runs on our data processor's own server. Matomo places cookies on the visitor's device and uses them to compile aggregated, anonymised visitor statistics for the further development of the website. Apart from Matomo, the website may from time to time also use the Google Analytics service, for example, in order to measure the effectiveness of certain campaigns.
Third-party cookie
On our website, we may display content with the help of external web services (for example, embedded videos or online maps), which may result in the storage of certain cookies that we do not control ourselves.

Processors

In operating the website, the controller uses the following data processor. The data processor acts on the controller's instructions and takes no independent decision on data processing.

Designation
Monogramma Kft.
Activity
Hosting services, development and operation of the website, compilation of visitors' statistics
Reg. office
8175 Balatonfűzfő, Fűzliget sétány 3, Bldg D, GF/1

The visitor statistics are produced by Matomo Analytics, run by Monogramma Kft. on its own server, so the visitor data never reaches a third party's system or leaves the European Economic Area (EEA).

Data transfer

As personal data, an e-mail address may also pass through servers located abroad in connection with electronic notifications, but no personal data is stored there. The controller does not make the data it processes available to any third party in any form, except in the case of mandatory disclosure to an authority authorised to receive it by law, and takes all reasonable measures to preserve the confidentiality of the data, and also obliges its business partners to do the same by contract.

Data transfers within NAVIGATOR Group may take place only on the basis of legitimate interest, for group-wide administration and reporting, and to the minimum extent necessary.

The controller does not itself transfer personal data outside of the European Economic Area.

Duration of data processing

The processing of personal data begins when the data is collected and lasts until the data is deleted, except for data that the controller is obliged to retain, with particular regard to the accounting legislation, until the deadlines laid down by legislation in order to comply with a legal obligation. In the case of processing based on consent, consent may be withdrawn at any time and without giving reasons; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Data security

The controller takes all necessary steps to ensure the security of the personal data provided, both in network communication and in the storage and retention of the data. The website is available over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Only those of our staff members who need it to perform their tasks have access to the data; all our staff are bound by a duty of confidentiality. The company operates a quality management system certified under ISO 9001:2015, whose processes also extend to the handling and processing of information.

In the event of a personal data breach, the controller acts in line with Articles 33-34 of the GDPR and, without undue delay and at the latest within 72 hours, notifies the supervisory authority, unless the breach is unlikely to result in a risk.

Data subject rights

Every data subject:

  • request access, that is, information on how their data is used;
  • request rectification if any of their data was recorded incorrectly or has changed;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • have their data erased if it was processed unlawfully or if the legal basis of processing has ceased;
  • use data portability, that is, request the processed data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
  • object to the processing of their data.

Requests can be submitted by e-mail to sales@navipro.eu or by post to 1116 Budapest, Hauszmann Alajos utca 2. Upon request, the controller is obliged to provide the requested information without delay and carry out the change or erasure.

The controller is also entitled to amend this notice unilaterally, with prior information to users. The amended provisions take effect with regard to a given user on the first occasion of use following their publication on the website. The amendment may not affect the data protection obligations laid down in the relevant legislation.
